2024 Update:
VintageArchtop.com should be considered a "Time Capsule". It was a labor of love for a few vintage archtop guitar enthusiasts/collectors/players in Southeast Michigan in the mid-2000s.

Our goal was to present information and photos of guitars and accessories from the golden age of jazz guitar as well as paths to learn more. We made no claims to be a complete resource - our goal was to fill in blanks as we saw them and to share our knowledge as we learned. Many things have changed since we built this website - Reverb.com debuted in 2013 (and sold to Etsy in 2019 for $275 million) and Guild has reissued the DeArmond Rhythm Chief line of archtop single coil pickups, just to name a few.

We present information about books as we read them, dealers that we've done business with and trust, and supplement that information with photos (Gallery), articles (Etcetera), interviews, and occasional guitars and accessories for sale (For Sale) as they become available.
